We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Position Summary:

Test product per required standards. Maintain and calibrate test equipment. Perform process and product audits. Process and document product in material review area. Perform blue and process sheet audits for conformity. Maintain a clean and organized lab.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Test product per required standards.
• Perform process and product audits.
• Process and document product in material review area.
• Provide technical support to operations proactively and as needed.
• Provides conformance testing and process audits/validation activities.
• Works with other departments, (Scheduling, CSR’s, Operations, and Distributions), in completing tasks.
• Involvement and completion of projects as assigned.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shift that follows a 3-2-2 pattern
• 6 weeks on days from 8am to 8pm
• 6 weeks on nights from 8pm to 8am

Qualifications Required:

· Ability to conduct all conformance testing of Level 4 Process Quality Technician, e.g. laser mike, dielectric tester, dissipation pot, Tg tester, Tinius Olsen, manual elongator, Techrand tester, and other equipment as specified.

· Demonstrated ability to meet core requirements in testing knowledge, ability, and competency.

· Meet or exceed performance metrics as defined by department supervisor and/or manager.

· Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)

· Ability to work with all levels of people in achievement of plant objectives.

· Understanding of key problem-solving techniques.

· Ability to conduct effective audits.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of oven enamel process.

· Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment

· Certifications for forklift and ability to operate hand-truck and hoists.

· Understanding of basic IATF requirements and Automotive requirements

• ASQ-Certified Calibration Technician
