What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our facilities and fleet running safely and efficiently. Each day brings new challenges and the opportunity to directly improve the comfort and dignity of those we serve.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing basic preventive maintenance (filters, lighting, minor HVAC)
Handling minor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and facility repairs
Conducting routine inspections of buildings and grounds
Providing fleet vehicle support (fluids, tire checks, light cleaning, and upkeep)
Responding to maintenance requests and completing work orders promptly
Coordinating with contractors for more advanced repairs
Ordering and picking up parts and supplies for projects
Maintaining safety standards and accurate maintenance documentation
Representing Wabash Center with professionalism and respect at all times
What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of experience in general or industrial maintenance (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or similar)
High School Diploma or GED preferred — equivalent experience considered
Must be 18 years or older with:
Valid Indiana driver’s license
Clean driving record
Insurability under Wabash Center’s policy
Ability to:
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Work safely with hand and power tools
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4 hours per day between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
