On Demand Staffing is hiring Material Handler / Picker Packer to support a leading plastics manufacturer in Remington, IN. These are full-time, long-term opportunities operating production equipment and supporting material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training is available for motivated candidates with mechanical aptitude or warehouse experience who want to grow in a stable, hands-on production career.

Material Handler / Picker Packer Responsibilities

• Move, stage, and store materials throughout the facility
• Inspect, label, and package finished products
• Wrap, count, and prepare goods for shipment
• Support production teams with material flow
• Meet production goals through repetitive tasks over 12-hour shifts

Shift Schedule

• Days: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
• Rotating Weekly Schedule:
• Week 1: 36 hours
• Week 2: 48 hours (includes 8 hrs OT)
• Week 3: 36 hours
• Week 4: 48 hours (includes 8 hrs OT)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full 12-hour shifts
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work rotating schedules
• Basic mechanical aptitude or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with varying temperatures
• Moderate noise levels; PPE required
• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting
