IT Support Technician

We are seeking a dedicated, customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our IT team! In this vital role, you’ll be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues — ensuring that our staff stay connected, supported, and productive.

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, or in person in a timely, friendly manner

  • Troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

  • Assist with user account management (password resets, permissions, etc.)

  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems

  • Provide basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Document support activities and resolutions in the helpdesk system

  • Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager as needed

  • Help onboard new employees — setting up workstations and accounts

  • Maintain and track IT inventory of hardware and software assets

  • Educate staff on IT best practices and security awareness


What You Bring:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent work experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role

  • Working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and endpoint security tools

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • A patient, customer-service mindset and professional demeanor

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to evolving technologies

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus!

  • Willingness to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support

  • Ability to lift or move equipment up to 50 lbs; occasional travel to local sites

Pay Rate:

$22-$24 an hour
