Director of Impact

Director of Impact

The Opportunity

Are you a systems thinker and mission-driven leader who believes that data, advocacy,

and community connection can transform how hunger is addressed? Do you see impact

not just as a metric to report, but as a movement to build? Food Finders Food Bank is

seeking a visionary Director of Impact to lead our efforts in turning evidence into action -

and action into lasting, measurable change across the 16 counties served by the food

bank.

As Director of Impact, you will serve as the strategic engine behind how we understand our

community, coordinate resources, and advocate for the people we serve. Working closely

with the President/CEO and across departments, you will lead our Resource Coordination

program, drive SNAP outreach and enrollment, shape our advocacy agenda, and ensure

our data tells a story that moves decision-makers to act.

This is more than a program management role; it is an opportunity to champion equity,

amplify community voices, and help shape a future where food insecurity is met with both

urgency and smart, sustainable solutions.

What You’ll Do

Lead Resource Coordination with Purpose

You will guide a dedicated team focused on service excellence - developing best-practice

workflows, setting quality standards, and using community insight to close service gaps.

You will balance organizational capacity with community demand, always centering the

needs of our neighbors in every decision. You will build and maintain performance

dashboards that communicate real impact to internal and external audiences alike.

Drive Advocacy for Systems-Level Change

You will lead Food Finders’ advocacy strategy - monitoring state and federal legislation,

shaping our policy positions, and representing the organization in coalitions and public

forums. Working alongside the CEO and Director of Marketing & Communications, you will

mobilize constituent engagement, champion SNAP enrollment, and ensure the neighbor

voice is heard where it matters most. You will bring both conviction and professionalism,

advocating on behalf of our mission with objectivity and clarity.

Transform Data into Decisions

You will develop and steward organization-wide data systems aligned with our key

performance indicators. From identifying underserved populations to producing executive

level reports, you will ensure our data is not just collected - but understood, trusted, and

acted upon. Your analysis will surface trends, assess program performance, and inform

the decisions of leadership and the board.

Build & Inspire a High-Impact Team

You will hire, develop, and lead program staff in a collaborative, outcomes-focused

environment. You will empower your team to deepen community partnerships, innovate in

service delivery, and bring their best to the work. You will cultivate a workplace culture

rooted in inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement, one where people feel valued

and motivated to drive change.

What You Bring

• A deep commitment to addressing hunger and advancing equity, you lead with

mission, always.

• You are a strategic thinker who connects data and community insight to

meaningful, measurable action.

• You bring experience navigating advocacy landscapes, policy environments, and

cross-sector partnerships.

• You are a confident, people-centered leader who develops staff, builds trust, and

drives collaboration.

• You balance big-picture vision with operational precision - keeping programs

running well while looking ahead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in education, human services, public

policy, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including direct management of staff.

• Demonstrated experience in program leadership, community partnerships, or

advocacy.

• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of performance metrics to guide

decisions.

• Food safety certification (provided upon hire).

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Why Food Finders?

At Food Finders Food Bank, your work will do more than coordinate programs, it will drive

change. Every system you strengthen, every policy you champion, and every data point you

translate into action helps bring food, dignity, and stability to families across its 16 county

service area.

This is your opportunity to lead with purpose, think boldly about what’s possible, and help

build a future where no one goes hungry.
