We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Administrative and Claim Specialist to join our Business Office team. If you’re organized, great with numbers, and ready to contribute to a mission that matters, this is your opportunity to make a real impact!


 What You’ll Do:

 

As our Administrative and Claim Specialist, you’ll ensure that claims, payments, and records are handled accurately and efficiently—helping keep our programs funded and our services running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare, review, and submit insurance and third-party claims accurately and on time

  • Track payments, co-pays, and deductibles; reconcile billing reports

  • Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, or questions by working with funders, clients, and internal departments

  • Maintain accurate and confidential billing documentation

  • Provide administrative and customer support by phone, email, and in person

  • Assist with authorizations, reports, and special billing projects

  • Ensure compliance with all billing and confidentiality standards

  • Maintain punctuality, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Business Office and programs


What You Bring:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or certification in billing, coding, or business administration preferred

  • Experience in medical, insurance, or service-related billing (preferred but not required)

  • Proficiency with Excel and Square; strong computer and data-entry skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to change

  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

 Schedule: Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours 8am- 5pm 


Pay rate: $22-$24 an hour
