We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Administrative and Claim Specialist to join our Business Office team. If you’re organized, great with numbers, and ready to contribute to a mission that matters, this is your opportunity to make a real impact!
What You’ll Do:
As our Administrative and Claim Specialist, you’ll ensure that claims, payments, and records are handled accurately and efficiently—helping keep our programs funded and our services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and submit insurance and third-party claims accurately and on time
Track payments, co-pays, and deductibles; reconcile billing reports
Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, or questions by working with funders, clients, and internal departments
Maintain accurate and confidential billing documentation
Provide administrative and customer support by phone, email, and in person
Assist with authorizations, reports, and special billing projects
Ensure compliance with all billing and confidentiality standards
Maintain punctuality, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Business Office and programs
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or certification in billing, coding, or business administration preferred
Experience in medical, insurance, or service-related billing (preferred but not required)
Proficiency with Excel and Square; strong computer and data-entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to change

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours 8am- 5pm
Pay rate: $22-$24 an hour
