This year's keynote speaker is Chief Justice Loretta Rush. Chief Justice Rush, appointed to the Indiana Supreme Court by Govenor Mitch Daniels in 2012 began her role as the first female Chief Justice in 2014. Prior to that she was elected Tippecanoe Superior Court 3 judge and served 14 years. As juvenile court judge she assisted with the creation of the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program, along with implementing juvenile drug treatment court and initiated a twenty-four-hour assessment center for youth. She is the president of the Conference of Chief Justices and National Center for State Courts (NCSC) Board of Directors. Throughout her career, she has received such accolades as the Kinsey Award for Juvenile Judge in 2003, the Fiscal Responsibility Award by the Tippecanoe County Council Commissioners in 2001 and was selected as one of Indiana Business Journal's "Women of Influence" in 2013. Most recently, she was awarded the Lady Justice Award by the National Association of Women Judges.  Chief Justice Rush will share with us information about her impressive career, role as Chief Justice, and potential for a Commerical Court in Tippecanoe County.
